A Modern, Jewel Tone Inspired Point Loma Wedding | Building 177, Liberty Station

This year has been such a whirlwind that people are forgetting there has been SOME good to come out of 2020, including all of the weddings we were able to sneak in before the COVID shut downs back in March. This bold and modern jewel toned inspired wedding (with a 175 guest count, might we add) is the perfect throwback when taking a look at our early 2020 weddings!

Betty and Jason's modern wedding at Building 177 in Point Loma was filled with vibrant, jewel tone flowers, a hanging flower install, and crystal chandelier lighting. What made this wedding extra unique is that this wedding couple loves to travel and wanted to showcase that on their big day. Everything from the custom invitations to the globe guestbook to their "Where in the World Is My Seat" seating chart involved travel in some way. In addition to their travel inspired invitations guests also received a "Secret Mission" personalized for them from the bride and groom. These missions ranged from things like "wear a bad wig to the wedding" to "call the groom the wrong name during your toast". Let us tell you the missions definitely made for an extra memorable evening with fun surprises popping up everywhere!
